The tour of the Herrenchiemsee New Palace is only possible as part of the booked guided tour. Unfortunately, it is not possible to take part in a guided tour at a later date. Please allow sufficient time for the walk from the jetty to the castle (min. 45 minutes).
Visits to the King Ludwig II-Museum in the New Palace and the Museum in the Augustinian Monastery Herrenchiemsee are possible on the day of booking without a fixed admission time during regular opening hours.
In the case of reduced-price tickets and free tickets, original proof of eligibility must be presented on site. Subsequent reductions cannot be granted. Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.
